Hi Mikey,
more sincerely, I'd like to lend a hand, too.
Since this page has been a bit quiet in the summer I don't know which diseases you still need... ...need to be covered, that is.
I'd like to take on toxoplasmosis and/or echinococcosis, and could maybe help with the viral diseases, although I'm not a virologist.
Just tell me if you could need me.

Gee, thanks! Actually, anything you'd be willing to write up, the project would be more than glad to use. If you look through the other threads of conversation here, it should help you get an idea of what kind of info we're hoping to include in each of the entries. We're aiming these primarily at "the common man", and especially want to include info on things like:
* how you get it
* how to avoid getting it
* what the symptoms and/or sequelae are
* whether it's treatable or not
* how common it is, where it's common, etc.
things like that.

btw. count me in on your following projects, I'm quite knowledgeable about tic-transmitted diseases and parasites (fascinating ugly little beasts)
