Get Me To The Church On Time

Now as many of you know, along with moving house, having children, and keeping your room tidy, planning a wedding is one of the most stressful things many people face. And so as I plan my own I think I will tell you all how it is going,
With 9 months left till the big day, that's 18 Post reports and I might get one or two out of the honeymoon as well.
The first thing that struck me is that I didn't have a fiancé yet, so I thought to myself, better go get one of those then. Cue Khamsin AKA Joseph.
And now that's that bit sorted on with the rest of the plans.
It was quickly decided that we wished to have the civil ceremony (that's the one that people go to) in the church that we attend... it's always helpful when you've already been baptised and don't have to worry about that bit. Now what time of year...
Next April seemed like a nice choice, with the blossom on the trees and just before Easter. Now a traditional Saturday wedding and, of course, April 1st is out of the question.
So we informed Joseph's parents, who were pleased... that's nice - it was quite scary.
And so the chaos began...
What with my perspective mother-in-law inviting half the country, a dress to get for me and something for the groom to wear...
Then, of course, they keep asking me about bridesmaids...
Sometimes I think it would be nice to elope, but we'd never get away with it.
Ah, I don't know what I'm doing, there are so many choices to make.
And who is on the invitation list?
I lost track last week after a hundred or so.
I don't even know half these people...
Just get me to the church on time
