This is another very potent story from you and I'm very impressed with the way you projected yourself into the scenario rather than writing from experience. The underlying theme seems to me to be about the inequality of women in other cultures as seen from a western point of view, and thats a difficult area to deal with. In this case though the balance certainly fell against the way women are treated in such circumstances. I remember hearing of something similar happening to a woman in such a marriage.

I am going to go away for a bit to think about this story and will have more to say about soon

Lovely to hear from you. Thank you very much for the review. It was much appreciated. You are correct, I did write this story from a completely different angle. It was a bit of a struggle. I'm not sure I'm completely happy with it, but I can't go back to it at the moment.

Are you still working on your John Titor entry? It really is worth getting this entry into the guide. Hope to see it front page soon....

By the way, I now have over 100,000 points on the world grid. It's surprising how quickly the points build.

Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while. Expect to hear from me soon . I keep spending time away from H2G2 but will be getting back into the swing of the site very soon. I must sort out that Titor entry! I also want to start on another entry soon too.

I hope all is well with you and you are continuing to write such great stories. I was amazed to hear how many hours you've notched up on the worlds grid site. Imagine how long it would take for all that work to be done without the help of people who lend their pc's free time to the worlds grid project!!
