Hot and dry,
Earth cracking up,
Arctic melting,
The oceans rising.
When will we learn
Appreciating natural resources,
Value what is there cause it's not
endless?

Ever tried living in Lagos?
All the time you're driven to mental dement,
Thirty degrees C and a hundred percent.
Wet with sweat and barking mad,
At times happy - mostly sad.
Verily you take to to a bottle of Star,
Elapse in a stupor beneath the punkah.
