...When you put "a few more" 42isms onto your personal space, taking the total number of 42ism on display up to 97 . Yes, I mean ninety-seven. Pretty gnarly huh

As gnarly as a whale. Anyway, I'm writing a new play about perspectives. The main characters are Roger, Ishtar, Cricket, Moon, Water Glass, Echo, and Clock. Any suggestions for the plot?

What about something where Roger and Ishtar meet up for first time, fall in love, and cricket gets jealous of ishtar, and moon gets even more jealous of roger, and explodes for no apparent reason?

What about Echo and Water glass? And how would Cricket percieve the world in contrast to Moon's views?

Dont you have any ideas yourself?
If I see all those charachters as a haiku challenge topic suggestion dont think I will rise to challenge with anything particularly groundbreaking for you to base your story on

What I have is Roger with insomnia being visited by the goddess Ishtar who guides him through three acts. First Act: Where Moon describes the world as "great and round" and Cricket describes the world as "great and square" because Cricket has lived all his life in the courtyard. Moral: Both sides are valid, neither are incorrect. Second Act: Is between Clock and Water Glass where Clock tries to stop time because the water in Water Glass is evaporating. Anyway, the glass empties and is refilled by Roger. Moral: Life goes on, where one story ends, another begins. Third Act: Then Echo apears and I have no Idea what to do. It ends when Ishtar is leaving and tells Roger "We came from dreams, were worshiped, and had temples built to honor us. But then there were less folowers, and new gods, the temples crumbled, and we were forgotten. In the end, each little god and goddess returned to the relm of dreams where even we don't know what will hapen next."
I don't know what to do about Echo's Act. Maybe a new character but i'm not sure. It needs some sort of universal moral.

I think the perfect plot for that cast of characters starts in a hippy colony with all the characters (teenagers) asking "Just WHERE did our parents think they were going - giving us these names!! " Then they all become ecologically enlightened e-traders and save the world.
PS - "when you dream of h2g2 etc" - I often post in my sleep - can't you tell??

I think it would make an interesting theatrical performance. With colored lights and everything. And maybe Echo could go . Love the hippie motif.
