Pleased to see you back Mickey - I was beginning to wonder if you were OK. Now I see why you've been away so long - finding a fiendishly difficult question for us

I'm still researching I'm sure its one of those questions that is blindingly obvious when its pointed out to you. I've also got a sneeking suspicion that it was asked on A Question of Sport a month or so back.
Why not try out question 90, and we'll come back to this one in our own sweet time
Question 089
Steviebab (Squad No. 8) Posted Dec 10, 2001
Well, I thought the goalkeeper would be Seaman but a search of all the games he has played at Wembley didn't provide an answer, so I'm still thinking about it!

This is a toughie. I've got a few names rolling around the head ...
Scorers
Eric Cantona - Leeds Utd, Man Utd & France
Dietmar Hamann
Roberto Di Matteo
Keeper
Shaka Hislop - Reading, Newcastle, West Ham, Trinidad & Toboggan
Spunky - Arsenal, QPR & England (unlikely)
David James - Liverpool, Aston Villa, England.
But nothing too obvious. I say no more clues, other can you confirm what period this occurred in. Perhaps a 20 year range to not help too much e.g. 1965 - 85 or 1981-2001. Whatever ....

1960 - 1975 ... there we are, a 15 year gap!
Question 089
Bright Blue Shorts Posted Dec 14, 2001
Dennis Law scored for:
FIFA vs England - 1963
Man Utd vs Leicester - FA CUp final 1963
Scotland vs England - 1967 (possibly other times)
The hapless incumbent in goal was none other than Gordon Banks.
Phew that took some finding ... there's a great Wembley Stadium site with every match, every player & every team to have ever played there (plus Status Quo get a mention for Live-Aid!).
