Question 064
Eusebio - squad number 11 Started conversation Jun 20, 2001
Can you name an Englishman, Scotsman, Irishman and Welshman that have all played for three sides that have won the European Cup? The players do not have to have been at the club when it was won - eg: Kenny Dalglish has played for two sides in Celtic and Liverpool

Irishman could be Liam Brady (Arsenal, Juve)
Scotsman John Collins (Celtic, Monaco, Everton)
Englishman Gary Lineker (Everton, Barcelona, Spurs)
Welshman Mark Hughes, as before.
Question 064
Orcus Posted Jun 20, 2001
Well, that helped, my research had only led to:
Englishman - Paul Ince - Man U, Liverpool, Inter Milan
But yeah
Mark Hughes and Brian McClair sound good.

Question 064
Orcus Posted Jun 20, 2001
No actually I do agree on that one but I checked all the European cup winners and Inter definitely won it. So I reckon both answers are correct. I want to keep Paul Ince there cos its the only one I got myslef
Question 064
Eusebio - squad number 11 Posted Jun 20, 2001
I'm using my quizmaster's prerogative to rule out Choccie McClair as he didn't make a first team appearance for Villa - he was only an apprentice
Question 064
RedPat Posted Jun 20, 2001
got platt and hughes
collymore liverpool,forest,villa
paul ince milan, liverpool, man utd
dean saunders villa, forest, liverpool, benfica
when did mclair play for villa?, are you making that up
Question 064
Eusebio - squad number 11 Posted Jun 20, 2001
By The Way - there may be more than one answer per country - what I want is the first person to name all four nationalities.
So I won't say yes or no to anyone yet (except for McClair - spent 14 months as an apprentice at Aston Villa)
