Have any of the rest of you looked at the footy quiz page in Alabaster? I did by accident yesterday and it is just comlete pants! Also, the points column had gone rather mad - BBS' name is too long and has caused the scores underneath it to be assigned to the wrong persons and Androyd has apparently no points when he should have 1/2?
P.S. Can we have a new question please?

Androyd's half-point is there on the scoreboard! But yes, yellow text on Alabaster=eye-strain. Being a Goo fan myself, I had some on my page for months before someone pointed this out to me. (Orange is fine, though).

Before Rupert I was an Alabaster fan and was keen to stress my point of view in debates during our time at Yahoo. Since the return of h2g2 I have transferred to Goo and have become a firm follower of its blueness.
*hangs head in shame for earlier misguided opinion*

Ughhhh I've checked the page out in Alabaster, and I'm glad I've always used Goo!
I think I'll have to post a warning on the page to all Alabaster users!!
Sorry there hasn't been a question for a couple of days, but my computer keeps kicking me out of h2g2 ...
Now, I'm here I'll post a couple of questions ... stand by your beds ...

What I meant about the scores is that if you have a list of favourites up when viewing the page (however small) the points list goes weird - just try it and see - maybe you can fix it so that the points ALWAYS stay next to the name of the participant?

Blimey. It does go wierd in Alabaster. I've got the scoreboard showing as a list of names neatly centred down the page, then directly below it is the list of scores
I'm off back to the preferences page to get me Goo back again....

But have you tried it with a list of favourites up along the left side of the screen? That is when it goes haywire.

yes ... justb tried it and I see what you mean. If I shorten Bright Blue Shorts to BBS it works, but then The Nitpicker is affected!
I tried The Nit, but it seemed quite unflattering!!!!!
I'll see what I can do!

No, it was bad enough the first time I looked
And frankly, I'm not going to go back and try to make it look worse

Can't you make the points column smaller?
You don't have to go into Alabastar* to see the problem I mentioned

It's a set command in GuideML whereby it creates two boxes of equal size ... I don't think you can alter said size.

Could you use Table instead?
