On Saturday 03 June 2006 a re-enactment of Robert the Bruce's first lost Battle at Methven, in Perthshire will be held involving local people and visitors.

Normally the village fayre is held around this time usually on the second Sunday in June. The villagers public park is interestingly called, the King Edward Park.

Throughout Perthshire and Scotland various events to celebrate Bruce's life and history will occur and more information will be available through websites including Perth and Kinross Council's links with local tourism agencies and organisations. More information to follow later.
