sad loss

I was introduced to The Hitch hikers Guide by a very close friend when it was first broadcasted.
He was only 17 year old and had an advanced form of cancer which in a short few months took his life.
Before he died i was able to give him a copy of the Book HHGG signed by the Author HIMSELF!!!at a signing in a book shop in Oxford.
Over the years it has been an ever ready source of enjoyment and has helped me remember my friend with humour and a little sadness.
My family and friends over the years have been unable to understand much of where my thoughts on life came from, most are not original and are from the writings of Douglas Adams, i mourn the sad loss and i am deeply shocked, i have only stumbled on the news tonight browsing the BBC website my thoughts go out to his wife and daughter who are the people who realy knew him.
