I was catching up on some BOFH at theregister.co.uk and just noticed the story that DA was dead. I am soo devestated.
My first introduction to the brillance of DA was when I was about 12 years old, we were on holidays and saw hitchhikders on ABC (Australia) in some country town where the choice of TV was very limited. Since then I have watched the tv series, listened to the audio tapes and read the books more times then I can imagine. I also read and listened to Dirk Gently several times.
Words fail me.
So long, and thanks for the fish
(sorry, couldn't resist)

I Heard about it yesterday, Im shocked as well it was so unexpected.
I remember when I was about 7 I found a copy of the Resteraunt at the end of the universe in our garage and have been hooked ever since.
