I'd rarely read a book in my life that marked me as much and
which accompanied me my whole life. I read the Hitchhiker's
guide the 1st time when I was 15 and since then I read all
the books once a year.
It helped me to destress while studying, it makes me laugh
when I am sad.

It is fabulous what Douglas Adams created and I am sure that he will be in our minds forever.

My heartfelt sympathy for the family and friends.

Truly sad.

Claudia

As I lay me down to Bed
Darkness Won't Engulf my head
I can see by infra red
How I hate the night ....

God Keep you Douglas Adams

Rarely before was so much owed by so many to one man

The HHGTTG was the first Science Fiction book I can remember reading, I was 11 at the time, it propelled me into the genre yet somehow no matter how many books I read I always had a soft spot fot it. I bought the trilogy in four parts some time ago and bugger me if he didn't release a trilogy in five part immediately afterwards, still I loved it and still do, Goodbye Douglas I'll miss you.

Douglas was one of the greatest comic writers of all time and H2G2 was his masterpiece. Now he has gone and the world will be a poorer place without him. I only hope I go to the same heaven as him when I die!

My wife's father died on Friday. It hurt her to find out that Douglas Adams had died as well.

God bless.
