Thanx! I don't think I ever thought someone would actually READ it, and I'm so happy you did. If you want more stories- I've got thousands of them. But I would like to know some about your education- what's it like. Wanna exchange impressions? E

You want to know about my education, Erm, erm, well its probably not that exceiting, but I don't know, its probably quite diferent from what its like out there, or maybe not? I did "A" levels at a local college, which was quite nice; lots of friendly lectures, I was Erm, 18 I think when I started "A" levels, I did human biology and environmental science, the human biology was a two year course, and at the time I actually thought it was pretty hard, although it doesn't seem that now!!!, But the Environmental science was a one year course, so when that finished, whilst I did the second year of the biology, I did a one year "A" level in Sociology, which was quite interesting. Then I finished, got accepted at university!!! Which was pretty neat, and I did what I thought was a BSc in biomedical science, but it was a modular course so it didn't quite work out like that, it ended up being BSc cell and molecular biology and biomedical science, which I think sounds even better. In my first semester at University I did all the social stuff, and in the whole of the first semester, which was about three and a bit months long, I went to the student bar every single night except for 3!!!, But, somehow, I passed the three exams at the end of the first semester. I think I passed them because the first year stuff we did was not much harder than "A" level; I only needed to pass to get to the second and third years, and only the second and third years count towards the final grade, whereas the first year doesn't, which I thouht was a bit strange? I carried on going to the bar in the second semester of the first year; albeit slightly less (I was running out of money!!) and passed all that semester as well.
The second year came as a shock, it got difficult, and I "socialised" somewhat less, and had to do some serious work, but carried on playin the guitar, and went to a few local pubs where they had "jams". In the second semester second year I moved out of halls, and into a small, very small, flat, which was a bit of a way from university, so i went to the student bar even less. The third year was just so bissy that I hardly did anythin but work, and did my dissatation, which ended up about 10,000 words long!!! At the nearin of the end of the course, I realised I needed to decide what to do next, I couldn't, so I went to do this MSc (immunology), which I chose because my dissatation was immunology based. And here I am. But, on a bit of a downer, I am not as happy with this MSc as I thought I would be, but, well, there is only about 6 months left now.
Thats probably not at all the stuff you were expecting, but I have a tons of funny, odd and strange stories about my time at University, but most are too obscene!!! to put somewhere like here..
Well, there was the time I fell over in the student bar, and somehow ended up laying on my back, completely under the pool table, and the people playing pool carried on playing with my laying under the pool table!!!, Well, maybe not that funny or strange, I think pretty normal by other peoples experiences here of university.
But as you can see, I still haven't learnt how to spell properly!!None of which is as interesting as your entry, and pressumbably your life..

Well, I WAS talkin' about your CHILDHOOD, but that's interesting too. I don't believe my life are too interesting, not so far, anyway... I can tell you right now I'll never have your experiences in Bars, coz I just don't go there at all, and Unis here are far more easy to get in than they are in your country. Never lived on Campus, either... I still hope I'm studying the right thing, coz last year I took Sociology and Education and got boared, and decided to change both Uni and courses and move to nursing and next year I'm changing schools and Unis again, but staying in nursing, so it'll be my 3rd 1st year!!!

Erm; my childhood. well, I was born in a small village just outside a larger town (they are vertually joined together), called Lowestoft, (I think there is a guide entry on the place), which is in Suffolk England, right next to the sea. So as a child I spent most time on the beech, and in the sea, but also on the river, which is right near where I live. I used to, and still do sometimes go canoeing, I used to go fishing in the river as well as a child. As I got older I started hikeing, and have been to the Lake District, Cumbria, the Pennines, and some other places, all in the UK. I was 14 years old when my mother died of cancer, and I was 17 when I nearly died in a car accident. I had just started A levels when I had the accident, but I missed most of the year being in hospital, so I started again a couple of years later.
I went to a pretty small friendly Primary School; from 5 to 10 years old, but I was never too bright or good at sport, until I went to Middle school, upto age 14, where I was still no good at most normal sports; but got a bit better at the accademic stuff.. High School was from 13-14 years old to 16, when I finished my GCSE's and stayed on to do A levels, but left when I had the accident, when I started A levels again, I went to the local college, which had more of an mix of age groups, with me was one of the youngest..

Well, I've graduated Highschool on June '95, Still 17... And on February '96 I've started my military duty service, which was mostly alot of fun and hard work. I got it over with at the age of 20 and started 1st year of sociology-major and education-minor, on 1999, at the age of 22. I had a nice trip with my bf to turkey before that. I quit the other college and went to Uni, hoping to find a REAL job, but, as I've told you, my teachers can't really teach and I'm what you may call 'a humanist'- more capeble in literature, social studies and stuff, and not in chemistry, biology, etc. So here I am, almost 24, doing my 3rd 1st year- is that pathetic or what?
P.S.- I practically live on the beach, but I'm sea-sick...

You really should... clear your head alittle, and see that there are other things in life but studying
How are you, dear? Long time no see...

Ill, yucky headache, possibly due to studying?
And yes, you are most definitily right, I need to do something else completely different next year, although I may contemplatea PhD year after that. I am just far too caught up in studying at moment, I haven't read a book (othe than textbooks) for ages, and that is something I useually do a lot when I've time. I don't think it was so bad on my last degree, as it was, I guess less difficult, and this year is SO hard, and very compressed; a one year course, I would prefer to do in two years, although, Humm, I now just want it all over, so I can get back to something like normal life; I may follow your suggestion and travel for part of the year, but I also think a "JOB" might be good for me, as I guess most people at my age have done some form of work, but, well, I really haven't!
(Haven't I just wrote this somewhere else?)
(kisses and hugs)
