Knitting

1 Conversation

i recently discovered the somewhat usual hobby of knitting.
how did anyone ever come up with it, i wonder? evidently, there are knitted egyptian sandal socks in some museum somewhere. think of it: three thousand years ago, some egyptian decided to take some string of some sort and sort of weave/knot it to make fabric. who knew?
to knit, you need some yarn, a pair of needles, and a lot of spare time. you also need a lot of patience (see entry Patience ).
i haven't figured out a verdict on it yet, but when i do, i'll be sure to let you know.
