Quick comments as it's really bedtime. I'll have a more considered look tomorrow. No doubt there will be more comments by that time.
It's quite a jolly entry.
Edited entries should be written in the third person. It may help readability if 'The author' appeared a little less.

Hi,
As it's past my bedtime, I haven't looked properly at this entry, so these comments are first impressions.
To secure a place in the Edited Guide, you need to write in the third person (although I think there are some exceptions, such as 'My experience of cancer' or that type of stuff).
It looked quite a jolly entry. 'The author' appears quite a few times. I think it would help if it appeared a bit less.
I'll have another look tomorrow (although other researchers may have given you a whole stack of comments and encouragement by that time!).

Ooh! I'm having some problems with my computer. I thought I'd lost the first shot at replying, and now you've got three .

I do need to fix the perspective. It's said from the point of view of a tour guide; I need to fix the "you will come to" to "there is..." and I'll work on it now! Thanks, .

P.S. It's easier to type than "Zarquon's Singing Fish."

So it looks better? Good.
BTW- could you check that I got "seismograph" spelled right? I think I did, but I don't have a dictionary handy.
But if it seems fine, then we'll let it simmer for a Scout to get to it

I back.
Anyway, sorry that I couldn't inform you (timezones are annoying). The subediting process could take a while, but you will be e-mailed at the e-mail address that you provided to the BBC when registering (changeable in Preferences) with the new entry number when it's done.

It's happened before, I know the drill- it took eight months for the sub-ed to even LOOK at my "Cybiko" entry.
