*Frankie Roberto takes up a seat at a table for two in a quiet corner (in so much as any corner in this place could be described as 'quiet'), waiting patiently for his contact to turn up.*

Hello Hello!!!
OH... ::softens her voice, since this IS a quiet table in the corner, after all!!!:: Hello... Good to see you made it... would you like something to eat or drink!?? Chocolate Milk and Cheesecake, perhaps!?? They are the food and drink of the muses, you know...

Well I'm not a muse, but cheesecake sounds lovely... Not so sure about the chocolate milk (what like a milkshake). Can I have a fruit smoothie instead (seeing as I am such a smoothie )?
*get's notepad and pen out*
Mind if I take notes?

Certainly!!! Take notes on how I make a chocolate milk: Take milk. Add chocolate syrup and stir!!! ENJOY!!! YAY!!!
What flavor of fruit smoothie would you like!?? We have Museberry...

Museberry sounds just fine thankyou.
So when did you come up with the idea to open this fine cafe?

::should seek out the date at the top of the Iris Cafe page, but doesn't::
The idea came to me a while ago... OH!!! I opened the cafe in April, that's right!!! It's part of the Musehome(A420661). The Musehome came about in August... And I suppose that around the turn of the new year, I decided that all my little muses needed a good place to eat!!! Sure, there are snacks and drinks at Bar Bacchus(A426872), and even a GROOVY "WHEEL OF MULITPLE CHOICE", which I am most proud of, but that doesn't truly sustain anymuse.
And I've always loved the little-known messenger goddess, Iris!!! My favorite flower is the iris, too, but I digress!!! What I really like about this cafe is that muses can add to the menu!!! YAY!!! I can't claim this idea as mine, at least I don't THINK it was mine orginally.
You see, the muses have a Musehome E-group(Muse Bob's idea!!! YAY!!! A great idea...!!!), where we can discuss upcoming events and places that will open up. I really need the help of fellow muses for brainstorming.
And my fellow muses have helped me PLENTY!!! Not merely with ideas on how to improve communication between muses or areas around the Musehome, but I've had a few muses who have taken the initiative(can I spell!!??) and MADE extenstions to the Musehome!!! YAY!!!
There is now a Musehome T-shirt by Pheloxi, a Cheesecake and Chocolate Milk Appreciation Society from aka, and a Musehome Bakery thanks to Englander(the a has umlots above it-- those two dots!!?? Yes...).... WOW... These were all QUITE independent of my own plans, and I encourage such innovation!!!
::takes a deep breath::
I believe your shake is ready!!! YAY!!!

Ooh, thanks for the shake. (taken out of contect that might sound quite strange )
What do you think of h2g2 then?

Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Aug 28, 2001
I LOOOOOVE h2g2!!! And if I'm away from it for 24 hours, it takes a few hours(usually) just to catch up!!!
I've learned a great deal, and nothing could ever compensate for all the laughter, advice, and friendships shared in this community(h2g2, not just the Musehome... )!!! Most everyone is so friendly, it's hard to feel excluded, and most every interest has an outlet: a society, a forum, a voice. And if there's not a Church of the BEATLES and you feel there should be one, for example, all it takes is mentioning it among friends, and sooner than later(thanks, Englander!!!), one appears, or you can build one yourself!!! YAY!!!
There's not much that could be done to improve h2g2. I've been here almost two years(2 in November), and for at least half that time, h2g2 is one of the places I have to spend time on before I leave the house in the morning!!!
herrrmmm... one thing I can think of to improve h2g2 is a concept that's been in my head for awhile: Why not have some sort of free online radio station!?? With researchers all over the world, rotating DJ's could entertain the masses non-stop!!! YAY!!!
Now now... I see you want to ask me what I would play as DJ from Colorado, USA. Well, if I'd get the equipment and the permission, I'd play THE BEATLES throughout my time one day a week(don't know what one, though... ). Other times, it'd depend on my mood: Favorites are the likes of Billie Holiday, Billy Joel, the Who, The Stones, Neil Young, CCR, Fleetwood Mac, Carole King, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, blah blah blah!!!
H2G2 is a wonderful place to get cozy and creative, or one can obtain a unique, more broad education. YAY!!!

Neither, because I love early BEATLES and older BEATLES!!! Post BEATLES, and pre-BEATLES!!! They seem like three or four different bands; they've evolved so beautifully!!! AND RINGO!!! Oh... he's always so pretty... I had a dream that he ate dinner right across from me... and I was crying for joy(this was, in fact, the other night!!!)
I got to see RINGO in concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado last June(2000!!!). THAT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE!!! YAY!!!
Now, if I had to choose a BEATLES song that DEFINES me, I would pick "Across the Universe". It's a very long story-- it now has layers of meaning for me, and I'll spare you from exploring all of them, but initally listening to it reminded me a great deal of the creative process:
"Words are flowing out like endless rain
Into a paper cup..."
....which brings us back to the Muses... I think one reason I began the Musehome because I've been blessed by inspiration since I was quite little, and I love Greek mythology!!! YAY!!!

Yes, I love the idea of muses.
Talking of muses, I'm an artist (of sorts), so could you fix me up with a muse (if I'm worth enough). Preferably one who's beautiful, intellegent and will fall in love with me, but any will do...
