Otherwise knows as Fries Rebellion, this entry marks another of the small, growing-pains type problems which occurred as the former American Colonies became the United States of America.
For some reason, Pennsylvania was a hot-bed of rebellion and dissent in those days!
Cheers!

I think this entry is awesome!
My only request would be for some references -- people like me read an entry like this and immediately want to read a book!

LOL! I guess my Pennsylvania History notes from university won't cut it then?
I'll see if I can find some stuff about this on the web and include them. (in the entry of course)
Thanks for reading it!

Well, I thought I'd return the favour and check out some of your entries - and I'm definitely glad I did!
A brilliant story, and you tell it so well! This story should be made into a film I think. It is very remeniscent of Braveheart...

A nicely written and entertaining entry. I really don't see any problems with it for the edited guide. Kudos!

I'll need to check the entry to see if I included this bit, - Fries served in the army when it put down another Pennsylvania rebellion in the western part of the state. Ironic that he'd then take up arms a few years later, eh?
I'm working on that Whiskey Rebellion piece and hope to get it done and uploaded soonish.
Thanks for the comments!
