Perhaps you had an easily guessable password.
Perhaps you wrote it down somewhere and someone found it out.
Perhaps you used the same password on another system, and the other system was insecure in some way
Perhaps someone looked over your shoulder as you typed the password
Perhaps you left a browser logged in to h2g2 somewhere
Either way, try changing your password.

I'm not official, and I'm not trying to fob you off. Just trying to help by suggesting possibilities. Since none of these possibilities correspond to your circumstances, I'd suggest waiting here for an official response before contacting head office.
And once again I *strongly* suggest that you change your password to h2g2. This will reduce the likelihood of whatever happened before happening again.
-Martin
I've allready changed my password

Hi -MissPopular-, the BBC don't give out information on h2g2 accounts to *anyone*. We can't even see your password, becuase we don't have access to the database.
Did you tick the 'remember me' button? Because that will leave your account logged in, and available to anyone who has access to that computer.
Key: Complain about this post
