I guess this is the best place for this, but what is h2g2's and the BBC stance on thread that discuss sexuality issues. Considering that sexuality issues are 'sexually oriented' I would prefer the term to be clarified.
h2g2 was a great help in me dealing with coming out to people, and would hate to see that I would have to shut off a huge part of me, just because of 2 words in the House Rules.
As a side note, the Australian Government introduced a stupid internet law that means ISP's are not allowed to host or let through 'sexually orientated material'. When the legal eagles over here worked it out means sites about HIV/AIDS, STD's, Coming Out could all be banned due to wording, but a gay hate site in the US could come through because of their choice of words.
I do understand what you are attempting to do, but I just want to be free and proud (and maybe help someone else deal with being gay), I hope to hear from you all soon
Thanks

Talking about sexuality is fine, as long as it doesn't stray into anything too graphic or unsuitable for reading by younger people.
Go for it!
