Every show can't necessarily be a classic - and this one definitely isn't one of them. For a time James Bond Jr. chased the minions of S.C.U.M. through the comic store to the toy shelves round to the computer shop - a merchandising engine that supplied yet another fad for kids to spend their money on. In the course of 65 episodes very little school work got done, but the world was saved more than once.

Great article! I thought I was the only one who ever watched that. I was lucky enough to be in the under-10 group when it was on, and could therefore appreciate the depth of the plots... Only problem I saw was in the fouth paragraph under PREMISE, the sentence with "Plots are ... fantasy novel is dependent ..." reads a bit awkward. Otherwise looks good, should be accepted in my opinion!

Thank you very much for those kind words. I've always been a great fans of all things cartoon. Wouldn't pass anything by without giving it a fair chance - even just the once. James Bond Jr. wasn't a perfect cartoon and lots of opportunities were lost, but it did have that slightly catchy theme tunes that caught in the mind.
