I liked this article, I am a big listener to The Now Show, and have heard the name Mitch Benn, but only in passing. Its good to have background info; a nice bite-size chunk.

Hi Mikey. I'd like to see more comedy entries in the guide, and this is a good start.

I think there's a bit of a gap in his career, though. You mention his university, but there's nothing on how he got from the university comedy troupe into the career as a professional musician/satirist/stand-up comic he has today. I guess he'd have been going through Uni around 1990? What happened up to 2003 - the next date you mention?

Right I've now officially given up on getting any info from Mitch himself. It may be that what I've got already will have to do.

Mikey - you write very clearly and coherently - well done, it's a real shame that the subject of your article hasn't come back to you. I just wonder if you trawl for a few more facts again you could add in a little more about this chap. I'm sure I heard him on R4 recently.

I think the article just needs a little extra to make it finished.


And, please consider writing something else (as well) for the Guide Mikey! Go on, I'm sure you could!

When you heard him on Radio 4 recently that was probably on The Now Show which, if you look, you will find mentioned in the article already.
