Would the words ring more truely in their native sounds? Is Estonia the language of the Basques? I will research.

They do. I'd like to think so. At least when they are not the words of the pop-songs

Estonian is a Fenno-Ugric language, just like Finnish. Nothing to do with the Basques. A little something to do with the Hungarian.
