MOURNING
Missed you this morning, when I rose from my bed,
Outside the birds were singing. Sorry if I
Upset you last night. There were harsh words said;
Raking up old arguments of when I caught your lie
Nothing could stop me. I was in full flow.
I wanted to hurt you... To twist the knife.
Now you are gone. It's my fault, I know.
Gone from our home, our bed and my life.

May we never forget
Our friends and family passed
Unto you I raise my glass
Rest in peace wherever you are
Night skies show you as stars
In my heart and my thoughts
Never will you be
Gone and forgotten.
