I love the quote. It reminded me of an anecdote. Unfortunately, I can't chase down the name of the famous person who committed this one.
Some young lady in the 1920s had an autograph book in which she collected autographs of all the famous writers of her day. She lived in New York City, so she was lucky to have a great collection.
I can't remember which two writers did this, but one very famous lady wrote in the book, 'Remember, dear Emily, that mighty elms from little acorns grow.'
Whereupon a famous male writer wrote, 'Remember, dear Emily, that X is a great writer, not a great botanist.'
