What is the use of a radio? People talking? What's so interesting about that? The best thing about radios is that you can turn them off. Unless you want to listen to the chart update in order to impress young people that you meet on the street with your extensive knowledge of their kind of music.

Contrary to popular opinion, a radio is not the most useful thing you can have with you in the event of your plane crashing in the Namib Desert. In fact, if you were listening to your radio moments before the plane crashed, you probably caused the accident in the first place. That's how useful a radio is.
