Blimey, that's a long URL. My idea is, seeing as we're all remarkably childish, a visit to the Museum of Childhood. Entertaining, free to get in, and it shuts at 5pm so there's plenty of time for drinking.

I have an even crazier one. I'm going to have to bring the wee one as our babysitter's had to cancel, so if the weather is nice how about having a picnic on the Meadows? If the weather's rubbish we can still go to the museum

If we're going to the museum (and it looks like the weather is going to scupper the picnic idea) we should probably be gathered and ready to leave the pub by 2:30 or 3 at the very latest, as the museum closes at 5.
