I don't know where you're coming from, Minichessemouse, but if you're flying to Leeds/Bradford, I'll be able to give you a lift from there. I'll be leaving Leeds/Bradford Airport at about 13:30 on the Saturday and returning on the Sunday evening.

I cant make it. Its going to cost £50 for the train and another £50 for the hotel, and then theres food and drinks on top of that. 
I'm afraid I won't make it unless i manage to find a job (unlikely)

Dundee is a stupid place to travel from. Its not my fault My free bus card only works in Scotland, I will have another look to see if i can find a bus to Leeds, but i am not holding out much hope.

There will be other meets I'm sure. 
I am still investigating other forms of transport, but as i said, im not hoding ot much hope.
