I've only just found this (thanks to Coely!), and I totally agree! Having seen AGB texted pretty much all day on Friday by one to convince us to go and join them in the pub, then being encouraged to meet them in another pub on Sunday.. They even go so far as to offer us a place to kip if we want to make the next Dutch meet. It's all a vast plot... But I'm going anyway!

That is very good Mina. And be assured we don't want to poison you or any H2G2 researcher. 
It is frightening that the president of H2G2 is deviding the researchers by the country of origin. BTW evrybody nows that Shazz is British and she can drink more alcohol then I do.

It's more of a joint thing, "look how much the Dutch contingent are drinking", rather than a personal thing. So you might drink sod all, but the amount of glasses on the table tells a different story.

In that way you are right. A good guess would be that they are drinking beer at moment again. (or will be soon this evening)

In Alphen aan den Rijn it will be just smoking, or Shazz or TM has to make you a cake.
About the other places I don't know because I don't eat cake and I don't smoke.

I shouldn't eat cakes anyway, as it just makes me giggle a lot and then fall asleep. Then I miss all the fun!
