Nice Page! I look forward to the upcoming features, particularly the reading list. I had not previously heard of the second Zubrin book you mention; I'll have to check it out.
Is there any sci-fi on the Mars theme out there that you feel is fairly non-laughable in terms of accuracy (even though what we "know" seems to be changing daily, thanks to Mars Global Surveyor!)?

Hello. Just found this page, while loking. I'm from the h2g2 Astronomy Society ( http://www.h2g2.com/a413876 ), so I thought I'd say hi.
Hi.
Looks like a good page, I must say that running a Society is the most rewarding thing I've done on h2g2, it's great.
I've mentioned your page on the AS site, and I'll let everyong know about it. I'l also be keeping an eye one it to see what's up. Maybe I could even become a member.
Good luck,

Hi!
I recently finished Benford's _The Martian Race_, which was quite interesting. Story was OK, but I feel that he had to add the race element to get the drama into it. Real Martian exploration is exciting, but probably not exciting enough for a novel. It did give some good descriptions of the problems that would be faced by the first explorers, and helped 'make it real' for me.
YS, thanks for the link on the AS page. In return, I have linked back to you! Who says interplanetary trade will be difficult? (Or interstellar, in your case... )
Seeya'll soon! jd
