The greatest footballer ever to come out of Wales ... he just has to be in the guide!

I once met John Charles and asked him if he thought Wales would have beaten Brazil had he played.
John smiled, winked and then walked off ...
A true great of world football.

Just a quick question if there are any people in the know around ... how do I make sub-headings?
Do you think it needs sub-headings?
Any feedback would be gratefully accepted ... this is my third guide entry attempt since becoming a researcher, but I truly think John Charles deserves to be in the guide.

He certainly deserves a mention (I'm not sure I'd say the same of Mickey Thomas ).
For subheaders, simply put
before the titley bit, and of course
after it.
Use those instead of the tags and you can't go wrong.
Ah, of course you can. For the above to work, your entry needs to be in GuideML (you can set this from the 'Edit' page). Once you set that, all of your paragraphs need to be surrounded by

Okay, I'm getting really cocky now
I've edited the entry and added some headers and italics
Have a look and see what you think!

okay ... if it's any good, how do I go about getting it noticed and plonked into the guide?

You're in exactly the right place already!
The limiting factor is, in the present set-up only 6 entries get picked each day from here to go into the next stage, and as you can see there are a lot of entries around.
There's no "queue", selection is random - which sometimes counts for you and sometimes against, it's hard to tell. You're unlikely to get this picked up by, for instance, an American Scout. But there's nothing you can do to really accelerate things further. We're trying to discourage people from re-posting to their threads too often, but if it's been (say) a month, you could add a message saying "hey, don't forget me!". The etiquette hasn't quite been resolved yet.
Anyway, I think that all it's waiting for now is recommendation - why not go and write another [or work on the Top Trumps entry] while you're waiting

I'm following you around everywhere today GVI!
I like the entry...I don't know much about welsh football, and John Charles seems worthy of the attention
