Sorry, just saw your remark.
I've had my chuckling time imagining this elderly lady sitting in the aiplane watching Fenchurch and (sorry lost his name) flying arround having fun!
Do you know the answer?

Sorry... I go by the name Fenchurch on H2G2 and spent last year learning to fly. The question is "How many flights did it take until I flew solo?" The answer(I couldn't have planned it if I tried)is 42.

Wow. If you happen to fly to Germany, there's a little airfield near my place. You are very welcome.

Thank you for the invite...I'm building in confidence although flying outside the UK for the first time is a scary thought. Shocked and saddened by Douglas Adam's death as are all researchers but his works are immortal and bring laughter everyday to people reading and re-reading his works.
