Websailor a very well written article but very sad on the unnecessary slaughter of such beaautiful and intelligent animals. I hope that one day it will be stopped along with a way of ridding the sea of pollutants.

Thank you both for your comments. I have campaigned for twenty years on this, but they are very stubbornly hanging on to their traditions. Of course they cite our fox hunting as comparable, which has left us between a rock and a hard place.
Human beings are strange specimens because as I was writing that article, half a world away, this happened:
