I'm trying to put together a number of entries on set theory (it will eventually become a university project), but need to know whether I am using more or less the right tone and the right level of "mathese". I'd be happy for comments on the above entry.

Whoa! My language isn't 'mathese', so it's little above my league =o]

I'm sure there's scope for this entry - be careful in using footnotes where you could say the same thing within the main text - jumping about the page detracts from the subject matter, especially when it's something as intense as mathematics!
