I think this entry is rather too short as it currently stands. I think you would benefit from reading about other places first from various authors here. Then you can come back and embellish upon your piece.

Right first thing is to get rid of the email address it is unnecessary

Then change the title to Ternopil, Ukraine ...the reader will have their own opinion on whether they feel a place is wonderful or not....this is not the place for opinion.

Then set the scene, what can you expect is it quiet, busy, large, small, mountainous, got lakes?

Well done on picking up on the history that is an important part to go into next. This can be followed by a section on industry. With these two embellish on what you have written. Pretend you are a police officer and ask questions about whether people reading it from outside the Ukraine will understand.

Are the Ukrainians good at sport? If so is this reflected in this town?

Then talk about the theatre and any other place where you can see films, the arts etc

Perhaps you could introduce a section on shopping. Is it like Italy with named things?

You could also tell the reader things they wouldn’t know unless they lived there. For example, does Ternopil have a flower or something named after it? Is it haunted?

Must see sights ....what would you recommend people see if they were to visit. Why would we want to visit? Come on sell it to us through writing.

Has anybody famous grown up or lived in Ternopil?

And now that you have sold it to the reader, how do you get there?

Of course these are all suggestions and based mainly on the structure of my own entry on Oxfordshire so do write things in the order you want to see, leave things out etc

expertMariner, this is a good piece but it needs expanding - try breaking it into a series of sections about the town's history, amenities, local attractions, how to get there, and so forth.

By the way, there's no need to sign your name at the end of a piece, as your screen name appears in the side bar.
