h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*an underground landing pad allows STUMPED to airlift necessary equipment into and out of the area*

as the doors slide open you look up to see a Correllian Corvette already desending. The ramp is lowered even before the skids touch down. A couple Storm Troopers jump out and place themselves strategically around the ship, the General, followed by several scientists walk out and follow the his lead to the lab.

~Minutes pass and the doors overhead close as the engines shutdown~

Then towards the back of the ship a cargo lift is lowered by hydrolics. On it are peices of various apparatious and what looks like a warp cylinder. The peices are put one by one on a anti-grav unit and taken to the lab.

~Guards are posted at the enterance to the lab~

*the sky burns bright as if a comet had penertrated the aptmosohere, with a scream or engins the ragnarock appears and releases a salvo from the plasma cannons into the corvet and ripping into the crew quarters and causeing minor damage to the weapon systems, the ragnarock with a swift move lands it self infront of the exit ramp weapons still active*

[loud speakers] if any one tries to leave the ship they'll get a S*** load of plasma down thier throat

*sea appears at the door to the underground compound*

[sea] what do you think you're doing?

*one of the plasma cannons starts to track sea*

[loud speaker] WE HAVE REASON TO BELEIVE THAT THE SHIP IS CARRYING ONE OF THE NICEST MEN IN THE UNIVERSE, HE MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO UNPUNISHED

[OOC] You have failed to note that the doors have been closed above me. This is an underground hanger. Anyways you got in somehow....



[Yo by intercom] Come out of your vehicle and you will not be harmed by me or my men, we can talk of what you are here about....

[sea] well, i still have a few of the acolytes that refused to leave when lafinass departed, and the factory workers have been doubly trained as soldiers. i put them at yo's disposal.

[forman] yes, ma'am. i will tell him immediately.

*sea nods and goes to find out why slatfatf is back*

[Forman] *Salutes and leads the acolites back to the vette for further instructions*

*The hangeer rocks violently as its torn apart with plasma cannon fire from an unseen source*

Plasma doesn't go through tons of rock and dirt very well, and seeing as this hanger is UNDERGROUND, I'd say its rather well protected or else my Vette would have flown the coop along time ago...

~Hearing the thuds of weapontry on the planet's surface~

Yo- Give me an update on the Northern Fleet's position

Officer- Sir

*sea pokes her head in the hangar door and frowns at the noise*

[sea] damned noisy neighbors. i'll have to call the police!
