A Conversation for Project: Constellations

There is nothing I love more than a crisp clear dark night when I wrap up warm and go out star-gazing...
I have been in love with Astronomy ever since I was a little girl, please tell me how may I help?
I have a star chart, a blow-up map of the Heavens...and my own knowledge.
My favourite constellation in Orion the Hunter...
I'll help!

Then write something about it! Where the name comes from, its stars and, of course, M42.
The picture has been drawn already ...

Thanks for volunteering, sorry for the delay in replying.
If you look at Cefprets page on Leo you can get an idea of what I would like. If you can stick to his layout as much as possible.
Thanks,
Tango

Will do.
Sorry I've been busy greeting newcomers.
Started writing now.

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Jan 23, 2001
It's written.
Do you want me to type it out on his page? As a posting? Or on a page of my own?
I'll help!
Cefpret Posted Jan 23, 2001
Publish it as your own page, so that everybody can see that this article has been done already. The 'framework' for Orion can be seen at http://www.h2g2.com/A489206
Have a look at http://www.h2g2.com/F59495 to read why I want to wait with creating new constellation entries.

I know this is going to sound really thick, but how do I add my research onto that framework on A498206?

Cefpret Posted Jan 24, 2001
I mentioned that page only because I wanted to show you how it would look like. Just create a new article with all your information. It needn't comply with special layout rules. Not yet.

I spent most of yesterday on it, as I had to learn how to do tables
It's here:http://www.h2g2.com/A515422
but it is not quite finished.
I need some more info, but can you tell me how you think it's shaping up so far?

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Apr 7, 2001
I've posted the url for the completed entry under the heading "Orion the Hunter".
I would now like to do the same with Taurus the Bull.
I'll let you know when it's done!
I'll help too ...
Chesebeth: Muse of Sci-Fi and Tactical Soft Fruit Assaults Posted Apr 11, 2001
Bear in mind, I'm in the Southern Hemisphere. I'll research any constellation you assign me!
