Hi there! My brother said there's just about everything on H2G2 & I guess he must be right.

Are you still interested in feedback on the water treatment plant thing? I'm a final year Civil Engineering student in the UK, & I just had to write an essay on "Industrial wastewater treatment & the UK legal framework for waste water disposal".
Currently supposed to be sizing the process tanks for a water treatment plant -which I suppose I should get back to...

Interested to read that you work in Dusseldorf, I have some good friends who live in Viersen (just to the west).

Yes, I would appreciate your comments very much! Maybe, you can contact Trillians Child ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/U154942 ) about it. She is the sub-editor for this entry. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to work a lot on the entries since some time ago. So, I am not really up to date, I think. I think your efforts might be most likely to make you become a co-author of the entries .

Actually, I know where Viersen is. Some colleagues of mine are from the Area (Willich, Schiefbahn) - however, I don't know the city, because I live east of Düsseldorf, as you may have noticed.

I am no longer a subeditor, although I did ask to remain in the list until I had finished editing this project, but I would like to complete the job all the same. One has one's pride, you know! (Anna took me off the subeditors roll recently, at my request)

Any comments you would like to make would be wonderful. My interest was awoken by the project because I used to work in sales for Allied Colloids (no longer around) and sold chemicals for sewage plants, learning a lot about the subject in the process, especially as I had lots of translations to do.

I've just finished my exams etc. so I've a bit more time now.
I'll go take a look at the articles when I've got my brain back in gear.
