h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Thanks Bel, for reminding me I need a new hair dye, because I also read that thread at "Ask" and it turned my hair white. My response was to immediately faint, then pick myself up, breath into a brown paper bag and then force my fingers to an email with link to the Eds, who, thankfully stepped in and announced it was a glitch.

Really, they should have handed out some and sprinkled some dust to make us but the effect was the same, we still have hootoo and I could have wept with relief. I already knew what I think of this community and my friends here and I know how much of "me" is part of the EG already, (and other places) but you only need a shock like that to make you realise just HOW much a part of your life it controls (I mean *owns*) and the horrifying thought of "what would my life be like without it" obviously hit others too

I'm so glad we're still here.

So it was you who emailed the eds. I wondered.

Losing h2g2 really doesn't bear thinking of. I'm surprised it didn't cause more of a debate than it did. Maybe because the glitch was so brief?

I must dye my hair again, too. It keeps growing in the wrong colour.
