Here's an entry on a once-famous and now little-know artists colony that flourished from the late 1800's until the 1930's. Have a look.
Peace,
Stephen

What an interesting entry!
It tells a great story and compelled me to visit the linked website. The only negative I can find with this entry is that it appears to have been done in plain text mode. The editors prefer entries to be done in GuideML. You can get help with your GuideML from the gurus or Bruce in the GuideML Clinic.
But this was quite an interesting read!!

Very nicely done, Stephen. The tone suits the subject admirably. I was puzzled by the term 'Roycrofter', until I followed the link at the end of your article. It occurred to me that you could kill two birds with one stone by including The Roycrofter Dictionary definition of the term as a quote at the beginning. That way you could answer the obvious question at the outset and eliminate the need to add the link separately at the end.
"Roycroft: 1) Roy means "king"; and croft means "home or craft." Thus, Roycroft means King-Craft; doing your work just as
good as you can - making things for the King. 2) The dignity and divinity of labor - peace, reciprocity, health, industry,
persistency, and endurance."
Don't be intimidated by GuideML. It's really very easy to learn; and you only need to ingest as much at a time as is immediately useful to you.

It may have seemed like this entry was just going to languish here forever, but BANG, it's heading for inclusion into the Edited Guide!
Congratulations!
You've cleared the first hurdle.
Well, actually, I reckon the first hurdle would be coming up with the idea. The second would be doing the research. The third would be doing the writing. The fourth would be submitting it to Peer Review...
You get the idea!
From here, this entry will head to the What's Coming Up page where it will wait for assignment to a Subeditor. The Sub will edit it and send it back to the Towers where a full-timer will edit it again. It will then join the queue for the front page, unless it gets temporarily diverted to the queue for artwork. Then, when it's ready for its grand appearance on the front page, you'll get an email informing you that the last hurdle has been cleared.
Cheers!

Congratulations!
