Hi Alex, its ok to call you Alex?
Cheers, I've just been and had a look looks good readimg material. So have you read what I typed out on A646148 I do the relaxation the one where you think of your feet tence them let go and go onto your legs etc, I tend to fall alseep, like the other night I was having such a bad panic, that my mouth went as dry as cardboard, tried sucking on a mint which seemed to make my mouth more dry, I drink loads of cold water, I also carry water everywhere I go,, Where was I I was doing the relaxation layed on sofa, thinking of my special place in my head I opens the window and I float outside its always sunny, calming, with a sparkling stream, and before I know it I drft into a calming sleep, I woke up to find it was 4:36am, I had a carton of orange juice, brushed my teeth went back to sleep. But I keep having panic attacks I also suffer with SAD my GP told me about daylight bulbs instead of buying a lightbox costing £100, why do they say more woman suffer with deppresion than men? I'm male, I have a massive breakdown at age 24, took to alcohol became an alcoholic I no longer drink. I even tried commiting suicide twice, All I want to be is normal again when I was younger it seems so impossable still on Valium and Loferpramine. Again cheers for the link glad its BBC related can't go on anything els as I'm on a digibox, I'm Dale by the way.

I'm not a specialist so I don't think I can help with regards to the philosophical side of mental health - the "why me" sorts of questions. Apart from recommending psychotherapy (I'm pretty sure you'll have been there), I can point you in the direction of your doctor, plus A3187244, A355466 and A930179.
