I wrote a piece about the jungfraujoch in Switserland. I think it should be a part of the edited guide. Please visit the following url a give me your opinion.

Excellent article! I would however maybe suggest including a bit more about what you do when you get there, if not more things to do, then more detail into them .. sights colours sounds...

I say this because the way it is, it is more an article on how to get there, than what it is .. infact, I wasn't such exactly WHAT it was .. the mountain? the mountaintop? a resort there? (for some reason I thought it was the resort carved out of a mountaintop .. but I think that may be something else).

Also perhaps a translation of what 'Jungfraujoch' means literally may be useful.

Great job though!

I too was confused as to what the Jungfraujoch was - I'm assuming that the Jungfrau is the mountain itself - so is the Jungfraujoch the train station?

Also, please remove the photo - it's lovely, but it really slows down the loading of this page. Otherwise, this was a nice little entry. smiley - smiley

how 'near' is the near future? smiley - winkeye Just wondering, cos if it'll be a while, then we should move this to the workshop - peer review is meant to be for finished entries... smiley - smiley

I agree with all the above comments, including Lucinda's query on whether this might be best moved to the Writer's Workshop.

Also, I think the first person references should be removed.

It Looks great now! The changes really make a difference. Needs the first person refs out, but that could be a sub-worthy task.

Great work,

Bingo! Bango! Bongo!

There you go .. like I said .. a little nip a little tuck and in it goes.

Great work!

Your entry will now go on to the subbies who will fiddle about with it a bit, adding links and such and then it will pop up on the front page .. you'll get an email when that happens so you dont miss it. But do be patient sometimes the subbing queue is longer than others .. but it will get there. smiley - smiley

Keep up the great writing!

Sorry, can I just be /really/ cheeky, and poke my nose in here? I'm sorry if I'm breaking protocol, but I don't know the Peer Review to Edited Entry system.

A couple of typos to mention in the edited article, Loony, though undoubtedly not your fault, or the fault of anyone intentionally.

In the first paragraph, 'Jugfrau' should be 'Jungfrau'.
Same paragraph, 'Shiedegg' should be 'Sheidegg'.
Last paragraph, 'Aletschgletsjer' is wrong. I've never heard of this particular glacier, but I'm supposing by what it looks like to be 'Aletschgletscher'.

Hope that helps, and I'm sorry if I broke any rules by posting here.

Congratulations!

It's a great piece though, it has to be said. smiley - smiley

Ah, reminds me of the days I lived near there, waking up to see the very same mountain over the Thunersee.
