I grew up in Luedenscheid and can only attest to the fact that it is constantly raining there. It has had an enormous influence of my perception of what is "good" and what is "bad" weather: I *love* rain, and I can't stand days when it is hot and there's not a single cloud in the sky.

BTW: I really have to update the entry...
BTW2: Last weekend I learnt that I know somebody at H2G2 from Muelheim/Ruhr. Let's see if I can find him...
