Hope this is the right place to post, and also that I'll be read (last post on this page : 5 months ago )
Anyway, regarding the new sign-on page, the "Click here to login" link on the front page (on http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/, points to http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/Login, methinks) doesn't work since the changeover (more integration in BBCi,or something).
Funny nobody pointed this out earlier... I always logged in using that link.
Cheers,
eska.

Bloody commas... those URLs are http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/ and http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/Login respectively. VoilĂ .

If I click on http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/ Then click on the Sigh in button I do go to he right page to login
But if I click on http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/Login
then I go to the page that is no longer used
If I click on <./>login</.> it also will send you to the old page

My point exactly. NOTHING in h2g2 should still point to the URL ending with /login (or /Login) because it's no longer used.

That's what I see on the main h2g2 page, and the last part (which I've capitalized) links to the wrong page. There.
(sorry for posting twice, I only realise I haven't been clear when it's too late)

I fail to understand why they didn't simply let login redirect to the SSO page and spared us from the disgusting new bar.
Would save a lot of trouble and make many people much happier.

That's because it would have been too sensible. Collective managed to opt out of the SSO bar. So if the policy was that all sites must look the same that clearly didn't really matter either.
Key: Complain about this post
