My hair is nearly white...........and this computer is running 8.2 with RAID 1
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm,
Can I remember how I did it?
Firstly I used the Yast2 and installed 8.2 on the first of 2 identical IBM 40G drives.
Then I made two identical partitions copying the details from the first partition on to the second drive in the wizard.
I initially after getting md0 up formatted with ext3 but the partition was then reported as 10G not 30G as were the details in Yast!
I next tried EXT2 and it worked!
I forget exactly the sequence of what you have to do in the wizard - read the side bar help - I eventually did!
Good luck - I store all my files on it from our business via the net from the office to give offsite storage. Maybe it was worth the trouble! I hope so.
