I'd like to join as well, please. I'm currently trying to decide between Slackware 9.1 and the new Fedora for my box...

I'd also like the join, please.
I started out months and months ago with Mandrake on a dual-boot with Windows, and made my typical newbie mistakes, and I'm now looking forward to backing up my data, clearing my hard drive, and then going with Red Hat or SuSE all the way!

yay, back in the world of Linux. Got an nForce board so it was fun Settled on SuSE 9 cos the workstation and server distros (slimmed down) were free on the front of a mag
Still, setting up X for an nForce board was fun. And it kept getting my monitor wrong so I had to manually set the refresh rate.
But that's nothing to what I used to have to do to get Linux running properly. My, it has come on a bit (and GRUB is funky too),
