I'm pretty new to treating h2g2 like home, but Linux as an Operating System certainly _is_ my home.

It's the sole proprietor of my hard-drive (well there's a tiny Windoze XP partition lying around but it never gets the opportunity to boot), and I don't just use it for browsing the web and stuff just to look cool (true, I can't quite use /bin/zsh as a Turing-complete programming environment yet, but we all have somewhere to get to smiley - winkeye ... I also have somehow managed to put off learning Emacs-Lisp yet).

Anyhoo, can I please join your user group as I reckon I'd be able to help newbies along too smiley - biggrin ...
