You're right, it's a top quality album although they tend to run out of ideas lyrically in the last third, imho. 'San Dimas...' is one of my favourite songs ever, though. makes me feel like a 14 year old again, which can't happen often enough.
If you like the ataris, check out a swedish band called millencolin (if you haven't already). Similar stuff (but with occasionally obtuse lyrics due to their rather shaky grasp of english)
