In a recent survey carried out in the UK it has been shown that Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are most prevalent amongst 16 - 24 year olds.

This is absolutely terrifying. Having seen what HIV and Aids can do from a personal perspective it makes me wonder what the hell is going on.

I'm not going to rant on but I think that teenage sex is ok as long as people are educated enough - be it from family, friends or state. If you don't feel comfortable, don't do it. If you do feel comfortable, do it safely.

it's the old addage - if you can't be good, be careful.

As a teenager i would like to have a say! In fact a mate of mine aged about 14 is due for an abortion on friday!

being a virgin will never be seen as being cool, but it has to be made more crediable!

Is sex education the duty of schools or parents?

It is the duties of the school as there will be some parents embrased by the idea.

Should the age of consent be raised or lowered?

it sholud be kept the same! homesexual sex between men sholud be lowered!

Is waiting until you are married before having sex an outdated notion?

yes!

Does the media put pressure on teenagers to be sexually active?

it depends what papers u read! and if u watch the national tv awards!

Is it all a matter of hormones?

in away yes!

Should underage teens be given confidential contraceptive advice?

yes!

Is this a issue for politicians, or should they be concentrating on more important things?

It is none of their buissiness we didn't vote for them! but they try and preach at us!!!!

I think now your 14 year old mate probabley sees the 'credible side' to being a virgin.
