My 2 cents:
Being a virgin is not cool. Thinking that is just stupid. But it isn't neccessarily uncool. Frankly, the only way someone will know if you're a virgin or not is if they've actually had sex with you (or seen you have sex), so that's kind of a moot point anyway because you can tell people anything you like.
I think sex ed is better done by the schools because 1.) The parents may not have all their info straight and 2.) Society can't trust parents to do the job, and it is a job that NEEDS to be done.
Next up, waiting 'til you're married is definitely an outdated notion. Just don't have sex if you're not ready (or have the capability) to accept the consequences, including the possiblity of a child and STDs, and don't do it unless you're sure it's not something you're going to regret doing later.
Nobody puts pressure on teenagers to be sexually active. At least, not where I live. There is an overwhelming pressure to be socially active, dating, etc. But sex? Nah.. That's nobodies bussiness but your own.
