Thank you for a fine analysis of 'Tyger'. Blake is one of the most fascinating poets/artists I can think of.
I also found your comments on Christianity interesting. I try very hard, as a christian, to avoid using the "God is mysterious" excuse for everything I don't understand. I think that God created us all with intelligence and intends us to use it. Personally, my "faith" (or christian committment)is based on education, and (hopefully)intelligent decisions, not wishful thinking or "believing" unreasonable things. Perhaps that is why I like Blake so much: He insists that one keep thinking.
